Started his family practice after six years at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Now divides his time between preventative care and treating everything from malaria to diabetes. His Tuesday evening clinic runs till 7pm for working patients who can’t make daytime appointments. Dr. Health still carries the worn medical bag from his early community outreach days, now used for home visits to elderly patients living within 5km of his clinic. He’s known for checking in by phone after treating serious conditions – something his office doesn’t advertise but patients often mention to friends. Last year, he personally immunized over 300 children during the measles campaign in neighbourhoods with limited healthcare access.
